My name is Margo Watson. Anxiety, panic and chronic health problem dominated my younger years but I knew there was another way. For over two decades I have been traveling the path home to myself.
My journey began in 2001 with cognitive behavioral therapy that branched into the natural healing found in nature, yoga, meditation and Reiki. I discovered my first neural retraining program in 2008. I have since navigated six different neural retraining programs, gone deeper into natural healing and spent a decade doing cognitive work. Every course I took, therapist I worked with and practice I learned brought me one step closer to being embodied. I tested these tools while navigating the complexities of real life as a complicated, messy human seeking peace in a dysregulated world.
My academic background is in the arts. I hold a Master’s degree, which taught me that the stories we tell ourselves become the lives we inhabit. I learned the only way to live my truth was to rewrite these stories and come home to myself (even when I didn't want to).
I don't believe healing happens under florescent lights or on phones. Nature is our greatest co-regulator and teacher. Whether I’m gardening, listening to a wren sing or talking to a spider, I’ve learned that nature will show us how to come home—we just have to quiet our minds and listen.
I’ve spent 25 years doing this work amidst the chaos of being a mom, working and "doing it all." I'm sharing what I've learned so you can navigate the chapters of your story with more grace and less guesswork.
